Deputy unit strikes truck on Hunt Highway (East Valley Tribune)
A Maricopa deputy attempting to arrest a vehicle over the speed limit clipped the back of a blue truck Saturday, sending it spinning on its side near the intersection of Hunt Highway and Granite Reef Dam Road, closing the Hunt Highway for several hours for investigation.

One person was killed when a truck rolled on State Highway 2 in Wairoa this morning. Police said the road 5km North of Waihua, between Napier and Gisborne, was closed after the crash at 6am and was expected to remain blocked until 10am.
